Although Chengdu has entered the cold winter days, a series of activities in the field of the city's new economy are thriving. To implement and refine the policy measures for cultivating gradient enterprises in Chengdu's new economy sector and promote the development of new economy businesses, the Chengdu New Economy Development Committee (referred to as the "Committee") organized a series of enterprise exchange activities from December 6th to 10th. Through various forms, these activities provided more "nutrition" for the development of gradient cultivation enterprises.

The main target audience of this event were executives from the "Double Hundred Enterprises" (a project aimed at cultivating outstanding companies in the new economy) and gradient cultivation enterprises. The event was divided into Chengdu and Shenzhen sessions. The Chengdu session focused on centralized lectures, inviting experts from renowned institutions such as China International Capital Corporation Limited, TEC Group, KPMG, and Tahota Law Firm. They provided specialized analysis and training on topics related to listing rules on the Beijing Stock Exchange, the Sci-Tech Innovation Board (STAR Market), listing audits, and listing laws. Additionally, experts were invited to provide in-depth interpretations of urban future scenario laboratory cases, along with discussions on the construction of new economic scenarios.

The Shenzhen session primarily focused on company visits and ecological connections with leading enterprises. Over 50 executives from gradient cultivation enterprises in the new economy sector, along with relevant personnel from district-level and county-level new economy departments, visited Shenzhen on the 7th for a two-day study tour and ecological connection activities. The responsible person from the Chengdu New Economy Development Committee stated that the Shenzhen session was organized with a track-thinking approach, involving the participation of over 50 gradient enterprises in Chengdu's advantageous tracks such as drones, information technology, and biopharmaceuticals. These enterprises visited leading companies in their respective tracks, including DJI, Tencent, Xianjian Technology, and Ausa Pharmaceutical, for exchanges and ecological connections. The aim of such activities is to promote inter-regional integration of industrial chains and build a comprehensive industrial ecology for the development of local enterprises.

It has been reported that over the course of three years since the implementation of Chengdu's gradient cultivation policy in the new economy sector, a total of 9 unicorn enterprises, 16 industry leaders, 210 near-unicorn enterprises, 1,421 seed enterprises, and 1,971 scaling-up enterprises have been nurtured. New economy companies such as Jiwei IoT and Zhunshida have achieved annual revenue scales exceeding 10 billion yuan. The responsible person also stated that, considering the past implementation of gradient cultivation policies and the current challenges faced by enterprises, along with the new requirements set by the central, provincial, and municipal governments regarding "specialized, refined, distinctive, and innovative" enterprises, the Chengdu New Economy Development Committee is currently revising the relevant gradient cultivation policies to provide comprehensive life-cycle services for the development of these enterprises.
