On February 15th, the Chengdu sub-venue of the 2nd Sci-Tech China·TFSTC Cloud Service Conference was held at Chengdu Science and Technology Hall. A total of 11 companies showcased their key innovation projects during the roadshow presentation, covering areas such as new materials, intelligent manufacturing, environmental technology, and health industry.

 

 

Among the 11 key innovation projects, one of them is Luyang Gongying Energy Technology Co., Ltd.'s Green Sunlight Energy Storage Photovoltaic-Thermal Roof System. The project offers the following advantages:

1.By utilizing an energy storage system, the project integrates green energy sources—photovoltaic, solar thermal, off-peak electricity, and ambient heat—into the structure of the rooftop building. This not only beautifies the building with photovoltaic-thermal projects but also illuminates the city. Compared to traditional rooftop photovoltaic systems, the installation of photovoltaic-thermal panels on an equivalent building area allows for a 25% greater quantity.

 

 

2.Enable self-consumption of photovoltaic energy without the need for grid connection.

 

3.By utilizing an energy storage system, the project integrates various green energy sources such as photovoltaic, solar thermal, off-peak electricity, and ambient heat into the structure of the rooftop building. These energy sources are mutually interconnected, forming a supply and storage energy building system. This system allows for a closed-loop utilization of multiple energy sources and enables complete fulfillment of low-cost electricity, hot water supply, heating, drying, steam supply for users. Moreover, it can also achieve energy-saving transformation for industrial steam boilers operating below 100℃.

 

The use of solely green energy sources like photovoltaic, solar thermal, off-peak electricity, and ambient heat promotes the development of zero-carbon new energy buildings. It is one of the major implementation measures to achieve carbon peaking and carbon neutrality.

 

5.The system is utilized on rooftops in national residential, commercial, park, and military border defense areas, making it capable of serving as a contingency energy source.

 

6.China has 58 billion square meters of buildings. If 10% of the buildings adopt energy storage photovoltaic-thermal roof systems, it would allow for the redevelopment of 5.8 billion houses, increasing commercial value and minimizing land development.

 

A total of 20 leading venture capital (VC) and private equity (PE) firms, including Yingchuang Dynamics and Dongxing Capital, were invited to the sub-venue. Additionally, five banks, including Bank of Communications and Chengdu Bank, participated in project docking and negotiations.

In preparation for the second Innovation and Entrepreneurship Conference, the Chengdu Association for Science and Technology spent three months collecting project submissions from 23 district-level science associations, industrial functional zone science associations, Tianfu Science and Technology Cloud service centers, and various academic associations. A total of 831 projects were collected, covering a wide range of areas. These projects included 175 in electronic information, 41 in dual carbon and new energy, 108 in life and health, 63 in modern agriculture, 238 in intelligent manufacturing, and 206 in other fields.
